As I said in my last comment, I don't encourage people to eat too much of so called "fake food". But what I want to say is that people should respect people who are vegetarians even if they consume those "fake foods". After all, no animals are being killed for them.

Actually many people don't enjoy eating those foods. In fact, it is better not to eat too much of these foods. Instead, vegetarians should consume more real vegetables rather than those meat-imitated food. But what I want to emphasize in this post is people should respect other people's religions. I have got a teacher who is a faithful Christian. She once told me that there is no difference between eating meat and meat-imitated food since the desire of eating meat still exists. I agree the part where the desire is there. But I think that at least they are not eating real meats and no animals are being sacrificed for them.

Lol. When talking about food-imitated, remind me about food at Vistana Hotel, Penang. I went for AssetFirst briefing and they provided us these foods. I thought it was salmon, lamb etc but ended up I was like "eh what is this?" and my chinese friend laughed at me "that is not real meat silly, some chinese don't eat meat". Ok fine with me :P

About respect, yes we as human being should give respect to all race and religion. This is basic rule of life. :)

P/s: I stuck in town last night in front of the temples lol.

Zachary: You got the message which I would like to convey in this post.

EliteVillain: True. If you want to earn respect from others, you have to first respect them. It's good to be not selective and fussy about food.

I'm not that great fan of vegetarian but still sometimes i can't differentiate "meat-imitated" food with real meat >_< so sometime i just pick them and eat lolz

Hey Sheng Loong, you got the point there. We should always respect to other religions' customs.

Your blog is good and it deserves some link love. I almost forget what happened on that day and you still remember it!

If you are talking about food offered to idols, I do respect Christian's custom and this is another case.

Hahaha. I wondered why you linked to my blog. Anyway, yeah I have nothing against vegetarian foods although I can understand why your christian friends say that. After all, I still remember that time very long ago when your mom brought all of us to the temple to eat vege food. After the Yugioh tournament!

Although I can't eat food offered to idols, thats a bit different. xD
